Gabriel Sanabria has been a member of AES’ team in Puerto Rico since 2008 where he has held various individual contributor and leadership positions on the engineering, maintenance, and commercial areas. A licensed mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in business administration, Gabriel’s current focus on the commercial team are the market origination activities and development of growth opportunities for AES. As part of his most recent commercial endeavors, Gabriel was selected by Caribbean Business on their 2019 40 Under 40 List. 

AES is a global leader in renewable generation and energy storage technologies. “Our strategy for transitioning thermal generation assets and continuing our growth on green energy sources closely matches the Puerto Rico government plans for the transformation of the energy sector. We are currently in the midst of the biggest transformation to be undertaken on Puerto Rico’s energy system.
