Arnaldo has a track record of over 20 years working in the electricity sectors of different countries around the Central American and Caribbean with industry company leaders such as AES, Aggreko, and Soventix, performing different roles in the areas of thermoelectric plant operations, energy management and development of natural gas generation projects and large-scale solar photovoltaic projects.

Since his return to AES in 2019, Arnaldo has worked in partnership with leaders, customers, government agencies, and the regulator to transform Puerto Rico's electricity matrix and support AES in accelerating the future of energy to a cleaner and more sustainable one.

Arnaldo is an Industrial Engineer, with a Master's Degree in Regulation of the Electricity Industry from the University of Comillas, Madrid, Spain. In addition, he has completed several Management and Development programs at Barna Business School in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
